Partners in care

The Productivity Commission Inquiry into Caring for Older Australians sought ideas about how Australia’s aged care system might be structured in the future. Our submission sought empowerment and choice for caring families, outlining a system that is responsive to what older people and their families want and need and that treats caring families and formal service providers as partners in care: We also outlined a range of supports to sustain the care situation and to preserve health, wellbeing and financial security.
