As a consequence of the increased life expectancy of people with disabilities, more ageing carers are likely to be outlived by their disabled son or daughter than in previous generations.
This submission provides information about the demography and needs of ageing parent carers and makes recommendations about suitable models of intervention to help them with planning for the future.
