The National Carer Support Services (NCSS) program supports caring families in veteran and ex-service communities across Australia.

We provide a range of services including consultation, community development initiatives, workshops and educational programs.

Who do we help?

In the veteran and ex-service communities caring can take many forms:

  • You may be caring for someone who needs help because of the effects of service or  because of war related trauma or injuries
  • You may be a veteran or ex-service person caring for a partner, family member or friend who has an illness, disability or who is frail aged
  • You may be part of an ex-service organisation supporting veterans, their partners and families

How can we help?

Our educational workshops and programs explore issues important to caring families and have been developed to suit the unique lifestyle and experiences of the veteran and ex-service community.

Our team of specialist educators can tailor sessions in response to the needs identified by your group. We can also develop new programs or resources to meet your needs.
