Help with the digital switch for hearing impaired

New Australian Sign Language (AUSLAN) videos have been released by the Commonwealth Government to assist the deaf and hearing impaired community make the switch from analogue to digital TV.

The 16 videos provide practical information, like how to connect a set-top box and how to record digital TV, and come with factsheets that provide more technical information.

The videos were released by the Minister for Broadband, Communications and the Digital Economy Stephen Conroy as part of Hearing Awareness Week, and are available from the government's Digital Ready website.
