Workers with disability and support staff in Australian Disability Enterprises will benefit from a new $1.9 million investment by the Gillard Government.

The Parliamentary Secretary for Disability and Carers, Senator Jan McLucas announced $10,000 for each of the country's 197 Australian Disability Enterprises to improve the training qualifications of their workers with disability and support staff.

“Australian Disability Enterprises employ more than 20,000 workers with disability across the country who without specialised support might not be able to find and keep a job,” Senator McLucas said.

“The funding will provide training opportunities for employees with disability to help them build career paths and achieve their full potential.” she said.
