Carers Victoria understands these natural occurrences can impact carers across the state and therefore suggest measures be made to increase the safety of you and your household through preparation.
There are many great resources available to help you stay informed and equipped for anything that may present itself. In accordance with the Carers Victoria Emergency Management Plan, we have listed official emergency and fire kits, apps, websites and radio stations to tune into.
CFA Preparation Guides
The CFA declares the Fire Danger Period for each shire or council at different times of the year which can begin as early as October and finish as late as May making it crucial for everyone to stay connected with the latest updates.
