As a part of your job role, do you engage with unpaid carers who support a family member or friend?

These sessions focus on building your understanding of unpaid carers in our community, exploring the issues impacting on their caring role and what key services are available to support them.

Topics include:

  • Carer awareness – the carer landscape, themes and challenges faced by carers.
  • Carer supports – referral options, services available to unpaid carers.
  • Understanding the carer experience – carer guilt, anger, grief, and loss.
