Meetings are held at Carers Victoria, 1st Floor, 34 Albert Street, Footscray on the 1st Monday of the month @10.30am.
We care for one or more family member with a mental or physical disability or for an ageing one. The mental illnesses of our carers range from Alzheimer’s, Autism, Bi-Polar Disorders, Depression and Schizophrenia. We are there for male carers to share their stories with us and to support each other especially in times of stress. Through this we all learn more about the various illnesses and problems they bring and how to better cope with it. If you are caring for someone with any of these issues come and join us. You are most welcome. We’ll assist you as much as we can with all our personally experienced knowledge over many years.
