Spectrum Carers: Support Group for family & friends supporting someone with Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD)
Spectrum specialises in Personality Disorder and Complex Trauma. This is a mutual support group for families/friends and carers supporting someone with a diagnosis (or a likely diagnosis of) BPD.
The group aims to provide an opportunity for family members, friends and carers to connect with those with similar experiences, gain strength, build resilience and hope, and receive support from each other and learn new ways of coping through each other's experience.
Who runs our groups?
The groups are co-facilitated by a peer carer and a clinician experienced in working with people living with BPD.
Who should attend?
- Family and friends of people with (or a likely) diagnosis of Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD).
- Due to differing needs, this group is not for people with BPD or paid carers unless they are in a caring role as well.
- It is not recommended for people under 18 to attend.
