This workshop will Include the following: \n\nWhy it is important to have an emergency care plan\n\n\nWhat kind of emergencies to plan for\n\n\nWho might be able to help in an emergency\n\n\nWhat key information needs to be documented in an emergency care plan\n\n\nPractice working through an emergency care plan template.\n\nNavigating an emergency can be very daunting. During this workshop\, we will work through a plan\, to help you plan ahead and hopefully keep peace of mind. This is an introduction to emergency care planning. \nPlease note \nThis workshop will not cover advanced care planning (Advanced care planning is a proactive process that helps individuals prepare for future healthcare decisions\, ensuring their wishes are respected if they become unable to communicate them). SUMMARY:Talking Through Anxiety - MyTime Bendigo
DESCRIPTION:Join us for this engaging workshop to gain practical skills and strategies to better manage anxiety. Learning how to recognise and respond to anxiety can support improved mental health and overall wellbeing. \nThis event is free to attend\, and morning tea is provided. \nPreschool aged children (0-6 years) are welcome. While you join the session\, a MyTime play leader will engage children in meaningful play nearby. \nMyTime is a peer support program for parents and carers of children with disabilities\, delays\, or chronic medical conditions. It offers connection\, support\, and resources in a safe and welcoming space. Eligibility: Open to parents and carers of children up to 18 years of age with disability\, developmental delay\, or chronic medical conditions. \nRSVP: Spaces are limited—registration is essential.

DESCRIPTION:lm St Mission and Women’s Health East warmly invite women from the outer east area who provide unpaid care to attend our Care4Carers group. \nWhether you support someone with a mental illness\, chronic condition\, or ageing-related needs\, this group is for you. \n  \nWhat to expect \nA safe and welcoming space to connect with others who understand the challenges of caring. \nWeekly sessions will include a mix of: \n\nInformal chat & connection\n\n\nRelaxing\, fun\, and wellbeing-focused activities\n\n\nSharing experiences with like-minded women\n\nMorning tea provided. \n  \nDates and time \nEvery Thursday\, Term 1 2026 \n10:30 AM – 12:00 PM \n  \nLocation\, parking and transport \nElm St Mission\, 654 Mountain Hwy\, Bayswater\, VIC 3153 \nThe venue is accessible and designed to be welcoming for all. Did you know there are supports available? \nWith support of our local Member of Parliament Steve McGhie we are coming together to help share some basic information about what supports you may be able to access. \nWe will have four presenters talking about NDIS\, Services Australia\, My Aged Care and Young Carers. \nMeet other carers and talk to our carer peer support team who all have lived experience – together we can explore opportunities in a safe and supported environment. \nWe are specialists in the neurodivergent space.
