DESCRIPTION:A FREE program by Carers Victoria Carer Support Group Facilitator Learning Program:\nSelfcare and Succession Planning\nCome online and learn more about facilitating your Carer Support Group\, meet other volunteers who are doing the same and share ideas. \nAbout this event \nThis workshop is part of a Learning Program for unpaid/volunteer facilitators and Carer Support Group members. A series of five online workshops designed to help experienced and new volunteer facilitators and group members to run effective carer support groups. All sessions include a combination of new information and opportunities to share your valuable knowledge. \nFacilitator Selfcare and Succession Planning (Planning for others to get involved in the running of the Carer Support Group. \nExplore: how setting boundaries can help carers and you as the facilitator to thrive\nsharing the load of running your Carer support Group\nreferring to appropriate supports.Who should attend \nVolunteer or unpaid organisers and facilitators of Carer Support Groups\, peer groups and yarning circles. Relevant for both new and established groups. \nAbout the presenters \nKim Repcak and Sally Camilleri are Carer Educators at Carers Victoria. Both have many years of experience establishing\, facilitating\, and supporting Carer Support Groups across Victoria and have a passion for supporting carer support groups to flourish. \nPlease note: for PAID FACILITATORS: \nIf you facilitate a carer group\, peer support or yarning circle as part of your paid employment\, please register for our Facilitator Network through our Sector team directly: sectorengagement@carersvictoria.org.au \nLocation \nOnline via MS Teams.
