DESCRIPTION:Choir for Carers\, a free program designed to support\, connect and uplift unpaid carers across Victoria. \nWhether you’re a carer already singing with one of our With One Voice choirs\, or a carer interested in music\, it’s a space for carers to take a break\, recharge\, and share experiences with others who understand.  \nAlongside attendance at one of our 13 Victorian choirs and our in person peer support sessions\, our weekly online peer support sessions provide connection and community made possible with support from Carers Victoria and the Victorian State Government. \nOur online sessions include singing\, gentle movement\, peer discussions and resource sharing from the comfort of home.

DESCRIPTION:The Pines Learning and Each Family Relationship support for Carers invite you to join this series of workshops for Carers which runs for 6 weeks\, on Tuesday mornings at MC2 (Manningham City Square) in Doncaster to give Carers strategies to help calm a busy mind\, to ease tension in the body and meet the difficult moments with kindness and steadiness. \nThe focus is on Carer Wellbeing\, helping Carers to feel more grounded\, connected and sustained\, drawing on breathwork\, visualisation and somatic grounding\, and guided reflection to find calm. \nEach Family Relationships for Carers have subsidised the cost for unpaid Carers total payment for 6 weeks is $42\, just $7 per session.

SUMMARY:Carer Connect – Equine Assisted Learning
DESCRIPTION:Equine Assisted Learning (EAL) offers physically and psychologically safe experiences with horses. \nEAL gives participants an opportunity to explore issues or feelings that may be troublig them. It also provides a safe space to simply enjoy being with the peaceful horses. \nNo riding is involved in this practice. Individuals do not need to have had experience with horses to participate. \nThis is a Carer specific program where previous participants have found it to be transformative for their caring role. \nCarers need to be available to attend all 4 sessions to garner the full benefit of the program. DESCRIPTION:Wellbeing Workshops for Carers is a free\, 10-week program designed to support carers to focus on their own health and wellbeing in a welcoming\, supportive environment. \nThe weekly sessions use gentle movement\, circus-inspired activities and creative play to reduce stress\, build confidence and encourage connection with others who share similar caring experiences. SUMMARY:Carer Connect – Equine Assisted Learning
DESCRIPTION:Equine Assisted Learning (EAL) offers physically and psychologically safe experiences with horses. \nEAL gives participants an opportunity to explore issues or feelings that may be troublig them. It also provides a safe space to simply enjoy being with the peaceful horses. \nNo riding is involved in this practice. Individuals do not need to have had experience with horses to participate. \nThis is a Carer specific program where previous participants have found it to be transformative for their caring role. \nCarers need to be available to attend all 4 sessions to garner the full benefit of the program. Why not give it a go? \nTuesdays: 21 & 28th April and 5 and 12th of May 2026

It will include free attendance at one of our 13 Victorian choirs and a calendar of both online and in person facilitated peer support discussions.  \nFor more information and dates for peer sessions please register here! \nThis project is made possible with support from The Victorian State Government and Carers Vic.
