SUMMARY:Carers Retreat Day
DESCRIPTION:A chance to step away from the demands of home and caring\, because sometimes it is much easier to truly switch off when you’re somewhere different. A peaceful environment\, fewer responsibilities and time in nature\, can create space to exhale\, rest\, reset and reconnect with yourself\, rather than always being the person looking after everyone else. Gentle wellbeing\, somatic and nervous system activities to help you slow down\, settle and feel more regulated\nNature based and creative activities\, with plenty of unstructured time to rest\, read\, wander or simply do nothing\nBeautiful bushland surroundings and a beach just a few minutes’ walk away\nConnection with other carers who understand some of the realities of caring\, without needing to explain everything\nLunch included\, so there is less to organise and think about
