Are you considering establishing a new carer support group? \nJoin our Community of Practice for Volunteer (unpaid) Facilitators of Carer Support Groups. DESCRIPTION:SUPA-HUB Neurodivergent Carer Sessions \n6:00 pm – 10:00 pm\, every second Monday \nHosted at SUPA-HUB\, Narre Warren Village \nA welcoming\, neuro-affirming space for neurodivergent carers and carers of neurodivergent children\, teens\, and adults to connect\, reflect\, and recharge. \nEach session begins with “Struggle and Win of the Week” an open\, supportive check-in where participants share their real experiences of caring\, from tough moments to small victories. \nThe group then dives into a focused topic such as masking and emotional labour\, carer fatigue vs burnout\, or navigating systems while neurodivergent. DESCRIPTION:Led by award-winning published writer Karen McKnight who has lived experience as a carer and has spent years helping individuals and groups to find their voice through writing\, these creative writing workshops will cover a range of writing styles such as freewriting\, poetry\, memoir and fiction-writing\, allowing for the development of creative self-expression\, storytelling skills and supportive peer dynamics. \n  \n**Please note this workshop consists of 4 sessions. Participants should commit to attending all 4 sessions.\n\n \nWeek 1: Stream of consciousness – 7th November (essential session) \nLetting go of the rules of writing through a range of intuitive\, right brain techniques.
