DESCRIPTION:Carers are warmly invited to take part in a Women with Power Tools Workshop—a fun\, hands-on session designed to build confidence and practical skills. This workshop offers a supportive and relaxed environment to learn how to safely use common power tools\, try something new\, and enjoy a sense of achievement. It’s a great opportunity to step outside your daily caring role\, connect with others\, and walk away feeling empowered and capable. A follow up session is also offered to review your new skills. Morning Tea is provided. \nPre-school aged children are welcome to attend. A play leader is available to engage children 0-6 years in meaningful play so you can relax and join the workshop. \nMyTime is a peer support program for parents and carers of children with disabilities\, developmental delays\, or chronic medical conditions. It offers connection\, support\, and resources in a safe and welcoming space. Eligibility: Open to parents and carers of children up to 18 years of age with disability\, developmental delay\, or chronic medical conditions. \nRSVP: Spaces are limited—registration is essential.

Together\, we’ll explore opportunities in a safe and supportive environment—and who knows? It will include free attendance at one of our 13 Victorian choirs and a calendar of both online and in person facilitated peer support discussions.  \nFor more information and dates for peer sessions please register here! \nThis project is made possible with support from The Victorian State Government and Carers Vic.
