FEST-Able - A free inclusive event which showcases the talents of people with a disability and pampers their carers.

Moonee Valley City Council is thrilled to partner with Footscray Community Arts Centre, Carers Victoria and the Brotherhood of St Laurence to bring you FEST-Able, a free and inclusive event that showcases the talents of people with disability as part of our International Day of People with Disability (2019) celebrations.

We would be extremely appreciative if you could help us celebrate diversity by promoting the attached document in your newsletters

There will be a whole range of inclusive activities on the day which include:

  • Live performances from the Hacketts

  • Art Exhibitions from ArtLife artists

  • Market stalls

  • Activity corner – Western Bulldogs and Special Olympics

  • Carers Pamper Corner – Massages for carers (Carer’s Vic)

  • Gardening and Art workshop for kids

  • Silent Disco Sensory tent (BSL) and Quiet Storytime (MVCC Libraries)

  • Face painting and Magician

  • FREE Sausages and ice creams

  • Performance from Flem/Ken Community Choir

The Honourable Bill Shorten MP will be attending on the day to acknowledge the fantastic achievements of our Crown St trainees and present them with their graduation certificates. This is an event not to be missed.
