DESCRIPTION:Music Boosts Wellbeing\nUpper Murray Family Care was passionate about making the UMFC Alchemy Chorus a reality. Multiple studies have demonstrated that music can support brain health and emotional wellbeing with people living with dementia. The success of the founding Canberra Alchemy Chorus has strongly informed UMFC’s approach in developing a local choir that fosters connection\, joy\, and wellbeing for participants and their carers. \nJoin the Chorus!\nUMFC have established an inclusive chorus which can be enjoyed by people living with dementia\, their carers and volunteers. This workshop will Include the following: \n\nWhy it is important to have an emergency care plan\n\n\nWhat kind of emergencies to plan for\n\n\nWho might be able to help in an emergency\n\n\nWhat key information needs to be documented in an emergency care plan\n\n\nPractice working through an emergency care plan template.\n\nNavigating an emergency can be very daunting. During this workshop\, we will work through a plan\, to help you plan ahead and hopefully keep peace of mind. It’s all about inviting new carers into the program and celebrating and supporting existing (unpaid or family) carers in our choirs. DESCRIPTION:Music Boosts Wellbeing\nUpper Murray Family Care was passionate about making the UMFC Alchemy Chorus a reality. Multiple studies have demonstrated that music can support brain health and emotional wellbeing with people living with dementia. The success of the founding Canberra Alchemy Chorus has strongly informed UMFC’s approach in developing a local choir that fosters connection\, joy\, and wellbeing for participants and their carers. \nJoin the Chorus!\nUMFC have established an inclusive chorus which can be enjoyed by people living with dementia\, their carers and volunteers.
