He also holds a Bachelor of Dementia Care and is currently pursuing his Master’s degree.

SUMMARY:Pub lunch for Peninsula Parkinson’s Peer Group: National Carers Week 2025
DESCRIPTION:The Peninsula Parkinsons Peer Group has over 150 members and meets on the first Tuesday of the month in The Mount Martha Community House to hear research updates and other helpful information from a variety of well qualified speakers. Approximately 40 percent of the members are carers and pub lunches on the third Tuesday of the month have been initiated as means of social interaction and relaxation for all. \nWith the funding from Carers Victoria\, it is proposed that the October lunch at Kirk’s Hotel in Mornington will be complimentary. We are looking forward to toasting our Carers with a beverage of choice!

DESCRIPTION:Are you a carer living in Shepparton or surrounding areas?\n\n\nGreater Shepparton Carer Brunch\nEnjoy some great food and connect with fellow carers.\nLocation\nShepparton \nFull address details will be provided on registration. \nAbout this event\nAre you a carer living in Shepparton or surrounding areas? \nCarers Victoria invites you to attend our free carer brunch event for some well-deserved timeout and an opportunity to connect with other carers. \nThis gathering provides an opportunity for you to meet other carers in your local area\, and a chance to hear about services\, supports and activities available in your community with Hume Mental Health & Wellbeing Connect team presenting a short 5-minute presentation. \nWho can attend\nOpen to carers living in Shepparton and surrounding areas. \nAttendance is free\, but registration is essential. Registrations will close when all places are filled. To create an opportunity for all interested carers\, each carer can attend only one group per month. \nPlease note\nIf you have any accessibility requirements\, please advise us at time of registration.
