DESCRIPTION:The Peninsula Parkinsons Peer Group has over 150 members and meets on the first Tuesday of the month in The Mount Martha Community House to hear research updates and other helpful information from a variety of well qualified speakers. Approximately 40 percent of the members are carers and pub lunches on the third Tuesday of the month have been initiated as means of social interaction and relaxation for all. \nWith the funding from Carers Victoria\, it is proposed that the October lunch at Kirk’s Hotel in Mornington will be complimentary. We are looking forward to toasting our Carers with a beverage of choice!

DESCRIPTION:A free four-week Equine Assisted Learning (EAL) program offering physically and psychologically safe experiences with horses. \nEAL gives participants an opportunity to explore issues or feelings that may be troubling them.
