DESCRIPTION:Music Boosts Wellbeing\nUpper Murray Family Care was passionate about making the UMFC Alchemy Chorus a reality. Multiple studies have demonstrated that music can support brain health and emotional wellbeing with people living with dementia. The success of the founding Canberra Alchemy Chorus has strongly informed UMFC’s approach in developing a local choir that fosters connection\, joy\, and wellbeing for participants and their carers. \nJoin the Chorus!\nUMFC have established an inclusive chorus which can be enjoyed by people living with dementia\, their carers and volunteers. DESCRIPTION:Music Boosts Wellbeing\nUpper Murray Family Care was passionate about making the UMFC Alchemy Chorus a reality. Multiple studies have demonstrated that music can support brain health and emotional wellbeing with people living with dementia. The success of the founding Canberra Alchemy Chorus has strongly informed UMFC’s approach in developing a local choir that fosters connection\, joy\, and wellbeing for participants and their carers. \nJoin the Chorus!\nUMFC have established an inclusive chorus which can be enjoyed by people living with dementia\, their carers and volunteers. SUMMARY:Choirs For Carers-St Kilda
DESCRIPTION:Choirs For Carers is a project run by Creativity Australia supporting Victorian based carers through the power of music\, mindfulness\, and peer connection. This program offers a safe\, inclusive space for carers to take a break\, recharge\, and share experiences with others who understand their challenges. \nRunning from Feb-June 2026 for our Victorian With One Voice choirs. It’s all about inviting new carers into the program and celebrating and supporting existing (unpaid or family) carers in our choirs. It will include free attendance at one of our 13 Victorian choirs and a calendar of both online and in person facilitated peer support discussions.  \nFor more information and dates for peer sessions please register here! \nThis project is made possible with support from The Victorian State Government and Carers Vic.

SUMMARY:UMFC Alchemy Chorus
DESCRIPTION:Music Boosts Wellbeing\nUpper Murray Family Care was passionate about making the UMFC Alchemy Chorus a reality. Multiple studies have demonstrated that music can support brain health and emotional wellbeing with people living with dementia. The success of the founding Canberra Alchemy Chorus has strongly informed UMFC’s approach in developing a local choir that fosters connection\, joy\, and wellbeing for participants and their carers. \nJoin the Chorus!\nUMFC have established an inclusive chorus which can be enjoyed by people living with dementia\, their carers and volunteers. The chorus offers an opportunity to engage in a joyful activity where connection is paramount\, participants can share their experiences and sing in a performing chorus. \nIf you would like to learn more about the UMFC Alchemy Chorus\, contact the team on 02 6055 8000.

DESCRIPTION:Ringwood Blokes is a relaxed catch up for males who care for autistic kids\, families or partners. \nIt’s a chance to connect over a meal with others who understand your journey and chat with our carer peer support team\, all with lived experience\, about available services and supports. \nTogether\, we’ll explore opportunities in a safe and supportive environment—and who knows? We might even solve the world’s problems over a drink or two! \nCost is $32 per person – includes a choice from our selected menu and one hot or cold drink choice (soft drink\, wine\, pot of beer or hot chocolate\, tea or coffee).
