SUMMARY:Carer Connect – Equine Assisted Learning
DESCRIPTION:Equine Assisted Learning (EAL) offers physically and psychologically safe experiences with horses. \nEAL gives participants an opportunity to explore issues or feelings that may be troublig them. It also provides a safe space to simply enjoy being with the peaceful horses. \nNo riding is involved in this practice. Individuals do not need to have had experience with horses to participate. \nThis is a Carer specific program where previous participants have found it to be transformative for their caring role. \nCarers need to be available to attend all 4 sessions to garner the full benefit of the program. Individuals do not need to have had experience with horses to participate. \nThis is a Carer specific program where previous participants have found it to be transformative for their caring role. \nCarers need to be available to attend all 4 sessions to garner the full benefit of the program. DESCRIPTION:Springvale Blokes is a relaxed catch up for males who care for autistic kids\, families or partners. \nIt’s a chance to connect over a meal with others who understand your journey and chat with our carer peer support team\, all with lived experience\, about available services and supports. Together\, we’ll explore opportunities in a safe and supportive environment—and who knows?
