Communities of Practice for Support Group Facilitators

Communities of Practice for Support Group Facilitators

Do you facilitate a Carer Support Group? Carers Victoria is launching Communities of Practice for Carer Support Group facilitators.

We work closely with Carer Support Group facilitators and know that you want practical skills and ongoing opportunities to connect with your peers.

We are establishing a Community of Practice for Carer Support Group facilitators, consisting of three groups across Victoria that will meet five times throughout the year. These sessions will focus on sharing experience, skills and knowledge.

Each session will focus on a specific topic based off carer feedback, such as:

  • Group membership;
  • Ways to get the money you need;
  • Building relationships and facilitation skills;
  • Managing logistics.

Participants are encouraged to attend all five session to build relationships and connections.

We will end the year with a celebration for all participants.

Expression of Interest

Register your "Expression of Interest" and we will be in touch with the date and location details of the next session.

*A community of practice is a group of people who share a concern or a passion for something they do and learn how to do it better as they interact regularly.
