The Australian Vietnamese Women's Association group encourages carers to get together on a regular basis to support each other, share experience and information on resources/services that may be helpful in a caring role. The group also offers social contact with others who may be experiencing a similar situation, as well as providing a break from their caring role.
If you are living in Brimbank areas and caring for a family member or a friend with disability ( physical, mental or intellectual ) or age related illness, not necessary living with them, you may wish to become part of a support group
