The aged care system is complex and can be confusing. Be prepared!

This program is a series of two three-hour practical and interactive sessions that explore the aged care system, including residential and home care services.

Who should attend

The program is open to families and carers wanting to know more about the steps involved in accessing services in the aged care system.

Session 1 - Support at Home

Tuesday 11 February
10.00am - 1.00pm

Explore eligibility for services, including Aged Care Assessment, types of services, who provides the services, and costs for the person.

Session 2 - Residential Care

Tuesday 18 February
10.00am - 1.00pm

Explore eligibility for entry into a residential home, how to apply and the costs involved.

Please note The program workshops are three hours in duration. Participants must attend the first session to continue in the program and cannot bring the person they care for.
