This free program is designed for families and carers.

Grow and care for beautiful and productive gardens by working with nature.

A practical introduction to gardening and growing food in urban and shared community spaces.

Participants will learn how to observe, understand and respond to their garden’s natural systems, building skills that support ongoing, confident gardening.

Topics

This fortnightly (every second Tuesday) workshop with include 6 different topics and different topic each week.

17 February 9:30am-1:00pm: Gardening with nature

Session 2:

3 March 9:30am-1:00pm: Soil as the foundation

Session 3:

17 March 9:30am-1:00pm: Growing through the seasons

Session 4:

31 March 9:30am-1:00pm: From spoil to soil

Session 5:

14 April 9:30am-1:00pm: Grow more plants

Session 6:

28 April 9:30am-1:00pm: Garden balance and biodiversity
