Celebration of National Carers Week 2025 – Full relaxation day! [No longer accepting registrations]

20 Oct 2025 10.00am - 12.00pm

National Carers Week 2025 will be celebrated by a Full relaxation day! for our Hume Carers Mental Health Services. It will commence at 10 am on the 20th of October 2025. The event will run for 2 hours, and it will include the following activities:

10 to 11.30 am – two masseurs from Endota Spa will treat Carers to a chair massage including scalp, neck, shoulder or upper back. The duration of each session will depend on numbers, but it is estimated that each carer will benefit for about 15 to 20 minutes of well-deserved relaxation.

Relaxation music and aroma therapy will be part of the full relaxation experience.

Handout information on relaxation and self-care will be available on the day.

From 11.30 to 12pm Carers will be treated to a special lunch (Halal) and drinks all purchased from our local businesses.

This event was designed to reenforce self-care practices discussed in one-on-one sessions during home visits, family meetings and one on one sessions with our Hume Family Carer Peer Support Worker.

The event is cost free.
