IMHA Rights & Self Advocacy workshop for services and carers in collaboration with Greater City of Geelong and Queenscliffe Local.

Independent Mental Health Advocacy is delivering an online workshop on rights and self-advocacy for carers. The workshop is designed to help carers better understand rights under the Mental Health and Wellbeing Act 2022 as well as IMHA’s 6-step self-advocacy model

In a 90-minute workshop, you will be able to learn about:

  • Rights under the Victorian Mental Health and Wellbeing Act (2022)
  • How to use IMHA’s 6-step self-advocacy model to speak up for what you want
  • Where to go to find support to speak up
