FREE Home Fire Safety Online Q&A Session for the Care Sector

27 May 2026 3.30pm - 5.00pm

You are invited to a FREE Home Fire Safety online Q&A session at the end of this month!

Wednesday 27th May, 2026

3.30pm – 5pm

Jointly hosted by CFA (Country Fire Authority) and FRV (Fire Rescue Victoria), this event gives support workers and service providers who deliver in-home care and support the opportunity to:

·                learn how to improve fire safety with people who are slow or unable to self-evacuate,

·                hear from experts about the best types of smoke alarms,

·                and get answers to any other questions about home fire safety.

People with a disability and people who are older are overrepresented in home fire fatalities. The people who provide in-home care and support are in a great position to support their clients with home fire safety.
