About the panel
Mandy Hose (panel MC) is mum to three daughters, including twins with disability. Formerly co-host of Too Peas In A Podcast, which talked about raising children with disability. Mandy was nominated for Australian of the Year in 2021 and co-wrote The Invisible Life of Us. She is a parenting consultant, specialising in sleep and settling.
Hazel Maynard is a trainer for Volunteering Victoria and runs public and in-house training sessions for the not-for-profit sector. She is passionate about encouraging people who are socially isolated or marginalised to volunteer, and upholding the rights of volunteers.
Brendan Croft from Endeavour Foundation, which is an Inclusion Employment Australia provider, is passionate about making a difference in the lives of people with disability and those experiencing social isolation. He is focused on helping people find meaningful work that builds confidence, connection, and independence.
Philippa Jones is a Senior Educator in Transition and Work Education and Education Support at Victoria University. She supports students with intellectual disabilities and cognitive impairments to achieve their individual goals by assisting them to complete further education and training, build employment skills, and transition into meaningful work or continued study.
