Basket Weaving & Morning Tea – MyTime Blackburn

27 Feb 2026 10.00am - 12.30pm

Caring for a child with additional needs can be all-encompassing, but looking after yourself isn’t a luxury—it’s essential. Join us at Blackburn MyTime for some basket weaving, morning tea and a chat with other’s who understand. During this relaxed session, you will learn to weave a small basket using natural plant materials that can be found in most gardens. All materials and morning tea will be supplied.

Pre-school aged children are welcome to attend. A play leader is available to engage children 0-6 years in meaningful play so you can unwind, relax and get some much needed ‘me time’.

MyTime is a peer support program for parents and carers of children with disabilities, developmental delays, or chronic medical conditions. It offers connection, support, and resources in a safe and welcoming space.

Eligibility: Open to parents and carers of children up to 18 years of age with disability, developmental delay, or chronic medical conditions.

RSVP: Spaces are limited—registration is essential.
