About this event
A free half-day retreat in the beautiful and relaxed environment of Halls Gap. Hosted by Carers Victoria for the Grampians region community, who are in unpaid care roles.
The day will include a nourishing morning tea & lunch, a native tea tasting and a mindfulness session with local Art Therapist Jodie Matthews, this session is designed to support carers in recognising and celebrating their resilience, while also exploring ways to nurture their wellbeing. No art experience is required.
After lunch activities will include indoor lawn bowls or a wander through the native botanical gardens.
The day will provide the opportunity to meet and connect with some local support services in your region. And we will send you home with a sweet little carers gift to help you stay connected to the caring community.
A bus has been organised to transport carers to and from Halls Gap; the meet up location is in Horsham. Please register for the bus upon registration and further details will be communicated on the lead up to the event.
