Celebrating International Day of People with a Disability

3 Dec 2025 11.00am - 2.00pm

On December 3rd, in alignment with International Day of People with Disability week, Noble Park Community Centre (NPCC) will host a special event to celebrate and recognise the vital role of carers in our community.

This event aims to bring together carers from diverse backgrounds and life stages in a welcoming environment to foster meaningful connections and peer support. Our goals are to reduce isolation, enhance social engagement, and acknowledge the invaluable contributions of carers. Building on the success of last year’s event, which attracted over 300 attendees, we aim to create an even more impactful experience this year. To provide a holistic, community-centred experience, we will invite local service providers to host information stalls. These stalls will offer carers insights into the array of support services available to them, including health and wellbeing programs, respite care options, and financial assistance resources.
