CHAMPS – 20/1/2026 & 22/1/2026

Ages 7 – 12 years

CHAMPS is a peer program built on the belief that children, parents and families do well when they can build a shared understanding of mental health and wellbeing and have access to a range of resources and supports.

Over the 2-day program, Participants will engage in some fun hands-on craft activities.

DAY ONE: Slime making – While the children get their hands stuck into lots of fun textures we will be discussing and identifying what sensory inputs calm their bodies and what can overwhelm them.

DAY TWO: Tote Bag Decorating – Children will decorate a tote bag to take home, During the session we will be reading  “The Huge Bag of Worries” The Huge Bag of Worries  and discussing what are some worries kids might have and who they can share their worries with.
