About this event

Together We Care: Finding Calm in the Chaos

Take a moment to pause and unwind with us at this special free event designed to help carers find calm amid the busyness of the season.

Enjoy a light finger-food lunch while connecting with fellow carers and local support services in a warm, welcoming setting. Then, take part in a series of gentle, creative, and sensory-based activities designed to restore balance, spark creativity, and bring a sense of peace.

Activities include:

  • Calm Sand Candle-Making – Create your own candle symbolising peace and renewal. A soothing, hands-on activity to centre your mind and lift your spirits.
  • Mindful Stone Painting (time permitting) – Paint words such as peace, hope, stillness, or gratitude as mindful reminders to take home.
  • Guided Hypno-Meditation: “Finding Calm Within the Season” – A gentle guided experience focused on breath, warmth, and letting go of expectations.

This event is supported by Colac Neighbourhood House, bringing carers and the local community together in appreciation and connection.

Spaces are limited, so please register early to secure your spot.
Come as you are and leave feeling grounded, refreshed, and reconnected.
