IMHA Rights & Self-advocacy workshop for Carers 15/10/2025

Independent Mental Health Advocacy is delivering an online workshop on rights and self-advocacy within the mental health and wellbeing services. This workshop is specifically for carers.  The workshop covers your rights under the Mental Health and Wellbeing Act 2022 as well as IMHA’s 6-step self-advocacy model

In an hour workshop, carers will be able to learn about:

  • their rights under the Victorian Mental Health and Wellbeing Act (2022)
  • how to use IMHA’s 6-step self-advocacy model to speak up for what they want
  • where to go to find support to speak up for what they want.
