About this event

Are you a carer living in Gippsland or the surrounding areas?

Carers Victoria and Milpara Community House invites you to join us for a special Carers Week celebration. Take a well-deserved break, enjoy a relaxed lunch, and connect with others who understand the caring journey.

As part of the day, you can take part in two workshops designed to focus on your own wellbeing:

  • The 7 Areas of Rest – Mindfulness Workshop
This session explores how rest goes beyond the physical to include mental, emotional, creative, and other important forms of renewal. Through gentle reflection, discussion, and guided exercises, you’ll discover practical ways to restore balance, enhance energy, and bring a sense of calm into everyday life.
  • Caring for Yourself
This workshop focuses on why self-care matters, the barriers that often prevent carers from looking after themselves, and practical tips and strategies that can make a difference to your health and wellbeing.

Who can attend

Open to carers living in the Gippsland region and surrounding areas.

Please note

Attendance is free, but registration is essential. Registrations will close when all places are filled. If you have any accessibility requirements, please advise us on registration as soon as possible.
