Victorian Carer Strategy 2025-2035 released

Published on 17 October, 2025

The State Government has released the Victorian Carer Strategy 2025-2035 as National Carers Week wraps up.

The strategy is about carers, their lives, and the rewards and challenges of providing care to someone who needs it.

It outlines how the Government will recognise and support people with a care role.

You can read the strategy on the Department of Families, Fairness and Housing website.

Carers Victoria will review the strategy closely and provide a response to carers and the government shortly.
