Carer Connect – Equine Assisted Learning in Woodend

13 Jul 2027 - 3 Aug 2027 10.30am - 12.30pm

A unique opportunity for Carers to connect, reflect and thrive.

**For Carers living in the Loddon Mallee Region of Victoria!

As a Carer it can be difficult to find time to focus on your own wellbeing. Carer Connect – Equine Assisted Learning, offers a unique and enriching opportunity to step away from daily responsibilities… a time to connect with others and invest in yourself.

Over four engaging sessions, participants will work alongside horses in a safe and supportive environment. You will explore themes such as self-awareness, mindfulness, confidence, communication, resilience and personal wellbeing.

No horse experience is required and there is no riding involved in this practice.

Horses are naturally responsive to human emotions and behaviour, making them remarkable partners in helping us better understand ourselves and our relationships with others. This connection is explored throughout the program.

Past participants have described the program as powerful, transformative and life changing. Carers reporting increased confidence, stronger personal boundaries, renewed perspective and a greater sense of connection with themselves and others.

Whether you are looking for time to reflect, to learn new skills or simply a chance to connect with fellow Carers, this program offers a truly memorable experience.

The dates for our final program for 2026 are November 10, 17, 24 & December 1.

All Tuesday’s from 10:30am – 12:30pm at Hamer Equine Assisted Learning.

Carers need to be available for all 4 sessions.
