Victoria's Schools

Carers Victoria is working with schools, communities and organisations

Carers Victoria delivers education for parents of children with a disability to support them in their caring role. Many parents of children with a disability face multiple challenges and have limited knowledge of the services and supports available to help them. Our goal is to reach and inform more carers supporting children with a disability of key services, supports, benefits and concessions.

Feedback

The facilitator was a wealth of knowledge; she gave some excellent reference points which I will explore

Parent

I was so busy supporting my son with complex needs, I did not have time to look for support for myself. Finding out about services and supports and connecting with a local parent support group has been life changing

Parent

The facilitator presented her session with clarity and was very informative. I gained a lot of new information
