To celebrate and acknowledge our families and carers for all they do for their care recipients we are hosting an information session on Carers Rights presented by the Lead social worker from Grampians Health, Mental Health and Wellbeing Service Darlene Cole.
This is to be followed by a catered afternoon High Tea. This day has been organised in conjunction with the carers that we are currently supporting. We would like to invite new mental health and or substance use carers into the center and look forward to celebrating and supporting their caring roles.

The Grampians Mental Health and Wellbeing Connect Centre is a Department of Health funded service that supports families, carers, and supporters of people with mental health and substance use challenges. Support is given from a family and carer peer support perspective. All staff who work at the Centre have family carer lived experience. This support happens in the drop in Connect Centre, over the phone, in carer peer support groups, and through information sessions.
