Mini Terrarium Workshop, offering carers the opportunity to create their own self-contained miniature garden during Carers Week. Participants will receive all materials required to build a terrarium, including a glass container, plants, soil, stones and decorative elements.
The activity promotes creativity, relaxation and a sense of achievement, while providing participants with a lasting keepsake that can be displayed and enjoyed at home.
This event is free to attend, and morning tea is provided. Preschool aged children (0-6 years) are welcome. While you join the session, a MyTime play leader will engage your children in meaningful play nearby.
MyTime is a peer support program for parents and carers of children with disabilities, developmental delays, or chronic medical conditions. It offers connection, support, and resources in a safe and welcoming space.
Eligibility: Open to parents and carers of children up to 18 years of age with disability, developmental delay, or chronic medical conditions.
