Chinese Carer Support Group – North and West

The Chinese carers social support group north/west has been established for over 15 years and has been carrying out group activities regularly since then.
There are about 45 group members- most of them come from north /west Melbourne- originally come from P.R China- new migrants- speak little English.

The group meets monthly and offers culturally appropriate information, education, peer support, and recreation sessions. Members feel comfortable supporting each other and receive and exchange information in their native languages about various available services.
