Building Self Compassion for Carers – Online program

29 Oct 2026 10.30am - 12.00pm

Join us online to learn how to be kinder to yourself and practice self-compassion in your daily life!

This interactive workshop offers a gentle and supportive space to explore what it means to treat ourselves with kindness, patience, and care. This group is running over 3 sessions on October 29, November 12 and November 26.

Together, we’ll learn how to:

  • Break down the internal barriers that make self-compassion difficult
  • Nurture a kinder, more accepting way of thinking, behaving, and living
  • Create space for self-reflection, healing, and personal growth

The workshop is designed to meet you where you’re at, offering opportunities to connect, share (if you wish), and grow at your own pace.

Prospective participants may be asked to undergo a brief eligibility screening to ensure that the group aligns with their current needs and goals.

In addition to the group sessions, we offer free individual counselling for both adults and children. This additional support is available for those interested in one-on-one sessions to complement their group experience.

You must be in Australia at the time of the group. There is no cost or Medicare referral needed. Self-referrals are welcome, so please get in touch today at clinic@acap.edu.au.

Groups are facilitated by final stage students under close supervision of experienced professionals.
