Carers Victoria delivers a range of programs to support carers, including education sessions for individual carers and groups. Designed from evidence based practice, these education sessions support you to develop skills to support you in your caring role, gain knowledge to navigate complex support service systems and enhance your health and wellbeing.
Workshops are FREE unless indicated and are scheduled on our Events for Carers page. Find a wide range of topics, such as carer health and wellbeing, disability, mental health and more. For groups of 10 or more, our Education Team will aim to run workshops at a time and place you choose. Programs can be customised to suit needs.
Carers Victoria offers self-paced, online learning on a range of topics for carers. Designed to assist you in your role, they are free and accessible at a time that suits you.
All day programs where you can drop in and access practical sessions to help you navigate the NDIS or My Aged Care, manage everyday challenges, plan for the future, enjoy creative and wellbeing activities, connect with other carers. Free morning tea and lunch provided.
For those caring for someone aged 65 or older or an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander person aged 50 years or older. The older person can receive support in the home or out in the community, doing activities they enjoy. To check eligibility, contact My Aged Care by calling 1800 200 422.

A partnership between Carers Victoria and SANE Australia. SANE Forums are a moderated, online discussion space for those 18 years and over living with complex mental health issues, and families, friends and carers of people living with complex mental health issues. Share information, stories and positive pathways through your experience. Forums moderated 24/7 by health professionals employed by SANE Australia and partner organisations.
