More than 750,000 Victorians are unpaid carers. Carers Victoria education programs help these carers build knowledge, skills and confidence to navigate services, strengthen wellbeing and thrive in their caring role.

90 minutes online or in person outlining the support services available to carers and the organisations that provide those services. 90 min interactive workshop helping carers prepare for when they can’t provide care as usual due to illness, accident, other emergencies. Topic includes: Why it’s important to have a plan; Kinds of emergencies to plan for; Who might be able to help in an emergency; Key information to be documented in the plan. This workshop is for continuity of care only and does not cover advanced care planning

We'll come to you. Ask us to deliver a workshop at your Carer Support Group of 10 or more people. Carer support groups can request an educator to deliver any of the above directly for their group. Contact us
