The Wodonga General Carer Support Group meets on a monthly basis and includes carers of people with a disability, chronic illness, frail aged, or dementia.

The Wodonga General Carer Support Group meets on a monthly basis and includes carers of people with a disability, chronic illness, frail aged, or dementia. This group is facilitated by two workers from Support Options UMFC and is a social group. We meet at a cafe at a local nursery in Wodonga to share coffee, cake and chat. What activities does the group undertake throughout the year?

Carers in the support group receive invitations throughout the year to attend educational and social events and activities like lunches/movies/bus trips. Activities are open to both the carer and care recipient. Carers can also register to receive a quarterly newsletter which informs of upcoming events and activities.
