Carers Victoria delivers a range of programs to support carers, including education sessions for individual carers and groups. Designed from evidence based practice, these education sessions support you to develop skills to support you in your caring role, gain knowledge to navigate complex support service systems and enhance your health and wellbeing.
Carer workshops are FREE to carers unless indicated and are scheduled on our public calendar. Topics are divided into categories to help you find what you are looking for.
Carers Victoria offers self-paced, online learning on a range of topics for carers. Designed to assist you in your role, they are free and accessible at a time that suits you.
Our Education Team will run workshops for a group of ten or more carers at the time and place you choose. Programs can be customised or developed to suit needs.

Caring for someone aged 65 or older or an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander person aged 50 years or older? This service helps you take a much-needed break. The person can receive support in the home or out in the community, doing activities they enjoy. It is available to eligible people living in the following catchment areas:

Carers Victoria has partnered with Comfort Care and Community Services to deliver a 4-hour respite program for carers who support a person aged 65 or older living in the Wyndham and Hobsons Bay areas.
Carers Victoria has partnered with SANE Australia to deliver the SANE Forums, a moderated, online discussion space for Australians 18 years and over who are living with complex mental health issues, and families, friends and carers of people living with complex mental health issues.
The SANE forums are a moderated, online discussion place which allow you to share information, stories and positive pathways through your experience.
Forums are moderated 24/7 by health professionals employed by SANE Australia and partner organisations.
