Support Us

Victoria’s 700,000+ unpaid carers ask little in return for the incredible care that they give. Your support shows you care about the selfless work they do.

Help us support Victoria’s unpaid carers so they can continue to provide truly incredible care for the people in their lives that need them.

We are a social purpose peak body with a charitable focus, supporting and empowering unpaid carers in Victoria. Your support helps us to provide services, connection, funding support, education, training and more. With your help, together we can make carers’ lives better.

You can help support us by fundraising for us, giving a donation, sending an in memory gift or making a bequest to Carers Victoria in your Will. Your generous donation to Carers Victoria will help fund vital services required to improve the health, wellbeing, resilience and economic security of Victorian carers – and possibly someone you know.

Thank you for your truly incredible support.

Just make sure you email the URL of your fundraising page to your friends, family, and colleagues and ask them to support you in your efforts.

Please keep in touch

If you decide to include Carers Victoria in your Will please let us know so that we can thank you personally and keep you up to date on what we are doing.

Confirming your bequest helps us make clearer plans for the future and if you wish, involve you in some of the planning discussions.

In Memory Gifts

Thank you for considering an in memory gift to support our work.

In memory gifts are often made in place of flowers at a funeral. Others choose to make a gift to remember someone on an anniversary.

Your gift, whether large or small, helps us to provide vital carer services, programs, projects and research.

How does it work?

  • We can give you envelopes to make available to mourners at the funeral service.
  • We send a card to the bereaved family acknowledging the gifts we receive.
  • We also send an individual tax receipt to each person who makes a donation, thanking them for their contribution.

How to make your gift

Phone 1800 514 845 or email our Fundraising Team at to request envelopes or find out more.

You can also make a donation directly via our donation page.

There are over 770,000 family carers in Victoria who provide an invaluable contribution to the people whose lives they touch and consistently make a positive impact in the community.

Consequently, a carer’s own health and wellbeing can deteriorate due to the stress and physical demand of the role. In fact, carers 'have the lowest collective wellbeing of any group' measured by the Australian Unity Wellbeing Index.

At Carers Victoria we aim to ensure that carers are supported in their daily lives. Your generous donation will help fund vital services required to improve the health, wellbeing, resilience and economic security of Victorian carers - possibly someone you know.
