LGBTQIA+ Supporters: Connection Groups for people supporting loved ones in crisis (Roses in the Ocean)

If you have supported someone you love deal with thoughts of suicide, crisis, self-harm or suicide attempts, this online group is for you.

Theme for this Event: LGBTQIA+ Pride Month - Pride as LGBTQIA+ Supporters Accessibility

When our LGBTQIA+ identitie/s aren't the only parts of our identity, both because of intersectional experiences, but also potentially also supporting a loved one in crisis, it can be challenging to find pride in both our LGBTQIA+ identity and our supporter role. This Connection Group will bring together LGBTQIA+ people who support loved ones in crisis, and support exploration of what pride looks like for those of us with these intersecting experiences. 

Connection Group Details

• Date: Tuesday June 10th
• Time: Varies, depending on time zone, or daylight savings time:
  - VIC/NSW/TAS/ACT: 7:30pm - 9pm
  - SA: 7pm - 8:30pm
  - QLD: 6:30pm - 8pm
  - NT: 6pm - 7:30pm
  - WA: 4:30pm - 6pm
• Location: Online via Zoom. Link sent to attendees on the day of the group.
  
  
• Accessibility:
  
  - The support group will run for 1.5 hours, including a short break in the middle.
  - Automatic captions will be available throughout the group.
