Parents & Carers Networking Night - Muscular Dystrophy Australia

The Muscular Dystrophy Australia (MDA) community is not just people living with neuromuscular disease, it is also their family members and carers. These people show up every day to provide care and support where it is needed most.

Parents and carers are hugely dedicated to the person in their lives with neuromuscular disease. They will go to great lengths to ensure that they receive the support and medical care that they need and deserve.

We have listened to our community, who have told us that they want more opportunities to connect with and learn from other parents and carers in the community and we are excited to be hosting a parents and carers night to bring these important people together and facilitate meaningful connections.

The event will focus on creating connections as well as an opportunity for parents and carers to get together and have fun.

The evening will feature a keynote presentation from the highly regarded School of Play who use fun to create impact.

They will deliver a joy-filled presentation focused on resilience and connection, followed by a networking portion where everyone can come together for a drink and bite to eat. Drinks and nibbles will be provided.

There will be a focus on creating connections amongst parents and carers as well as with the team from MDA.
